Kevin Fleming

Kevin FlemingDr. Fleming supports all Career & Technical Education programs at Norco College as well as CTE curriculum development for multiple state and federal grants. He also serves as the Principal Investigator for the National Science Foundationís National Center for Supply Chain Technology Education. Dr. Flemingís professional background includes experience working in higher education at community colleges as well as both public and private 4-year universities. Beginning his career in academia within student services, he has experience in classroom instruction, fundraising/foundations, economic development, academic affairs, and professional speaking/training. He most recently analyzed industry and workforce needs providing customized labor market research for the California Community College system through the Centers of Excellence.

Kevin Fleming earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University; a Master of Arts in Educational Policy & Leadership at The Ohio State University, a Master of Business Administration at the University of Redlands, and a Ph.D. in Education at Claremont Graduate University.


Olympic Gold Medalist Dain Blanton

The Get Focused...Stay Focused! ® Conference is excited to feature Olympic Gold Medalist Dain Blanton as a speaker again this year.

Dain BlantonDain has traveled the world representing the USA in beach volleyball. He became the first ever African American to win an AVP Beach Volleyball tournament in 1997, winning the AVP Hermosa Beach Grand Slam. Dain pushed forward and improved even further, bringing home a gold medal from the Sydney 2000 Olympics with Eric Fonoimoana. He also returned to the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, becoming the first and only male beach volleyball player to represent the United States in two Olympic Games.

In 2007, Blanton turned his focus to sports broadcasting. He has had an opportunity to cover many sports including NBA, Beach Volleyball, NCAA College (Volleyball, Basketball and Football) and MLB while working for ABC, NBC, ESPN, Fox Sports Net and Universal Sports Network. In 2016, he traveled to the Olympic Games in Rio as a beach volleyball analyst for NBC.

Dain BlantonAfter achieving Gold in 2000, Dain found himself in a unique position to lead and inspire. He has found his passion in mentoring and being a role model to help the next generation by traveling to schools nationwide conducting workshops and motivational speaking engagements. Dain leaves his audiences with a powerful story and real-life examples of how a vision, when coupled with energy and perseverance, leads to success.
